Acceptable Use Policy
Color A Picture, LLC · Effective date: October 27, 2026 Part of the Terms of Service.
1. The short version
Color a Picture makes coloring pages for children. Use it for that.
2. Do not upload or describe
- Any sexual content involving a minor. No exceptions. Accounts are terminated immediately, the material and account records are preserved as the law requires, and the matter is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Sexual or pornographic content of any kind.
- Images of a person taken or shared without their permission, including photographs of children who are not in your care or whom you are not authorised to photograph.
- Graphic violence, gore, or hateful imagery.
- Content that harasses, defames or targets an individual.
- Material you have no right to use.
Every upload and description is checked automatically before conversion, and content that fails those checks is refused. The checks are not perfect in either direction; these rules apply whether or not a check catches something.
3. Do not
- Use automated tools to convert images at scale, or circumvent usage limits, the free allowance, or safety checks.
- Create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits, or claim your own referral.
- Resell access to the service, or offer it to others as your own conversion tool. (Selling pages you made, such as a worksheet pack, is fine; see "Your content" in the Terms.)
- Attempt to access our systems, other users' data, or our AI providers through us.
- Use the service in a way that violates your school's or district's policies.
4. About images of children
We ask you not to upload recognisable photographs of children. A photo you upload is sent to outside AI providers to be checked and converted, which is a disclosure of the child's image to those providers. If you are a teacher, your school or district very likely requires parental permission before that happens, and their rule governs. Drawings, artwork, objects, animals and landscapes convert well and raise none of this.
5. Reporting and enforcement
Report misuse to abuse@colorapicture.com.
We may refuse requests, remove cached or saved pages, suspend or terminate accounts, and report to law enforcement where required. Because we do not keep uploaded photos, enforcement usually acts on the account and on saved pages rather than on the original image.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; changes are announced the same way as changes to the Terms.
